I dont know - it doensnt really look like a black fin...it has a little gold stripe through the head, in between two black stripes. I went to my lfs and he had a pair of them that a couple of people had to get rid of because they were moving. I got the pair for $4 American. Not bad eh?

Looks like a copper-nape corydoras to me. These were the first cories I ever kept.

The picture in my Aquarium book of the "Black-spotted" corydoras, or c. melanistius, looks exactly like your picture.

And yes, $2 each was a great price!

I figured it out - they are Spotted Corys. I found it Here The male looks exactly like those, and the female has no gold stripe. I am so glad I got the pair! They are so cute together! And for 4 bucks! YA!
