Techens 16Gal Planted Tank - Costa Del Sol

Another update, Got my plants from livewire. Thank you! Although I wont use the frogbit as I don't like plants that take up all the light :3

Anyway here it is for now.

As you can see, There's been some growth but other plants just sit there :B

Ok, time to stop messing with it now and let it grow in a bit. Looking good.

Tis so slooow but I agree :B

I've been thinking about corys though I don't know if they'd work with my substrate.

They'll be find with your substrate.

They will dig up all of your plants though.

Is the reason I made it deep, The plant roots grow really deep into the substrate, really hard to uproot them.

Am scared that the substrate being too light means the cory pellets fall through the substrate.

Okay another update, Added another big leafy plant in between the rocks but unsure what it is. The LFS its somewhat of a amazon sword but not quite. Am hoping the betta uses it to sleep on once it starts growing in.

Got 6 corys today, Gave into there cute faces. Seem to be doing fine though and love the amount of cover there is in the tank.

Also got a drop checker, It's reading my PH under 6.5 which is green so it's doing quite good for just yeast injection alone, really digging it.

Added some weeping moss onto the wood too :p

Looks really good Techen.

What type of cories did you go for?

Just bronze, I like there faces anyway :p

Well my hairgrass is slowly spreading, I can see new growth pop out of the substrate almost everyday. Should give it a week or two and I should start seeing a nice carpet in my tank.

My cabomba won't stop growing as well so I may start giving it away for free if anyway wanted the stuff too :p

Some of the hairgrass growth, you can see a bit sliding up the glass from the substrate below and theres tons of other new growth going for it.
