I guess I'll start with me getting the 40L, It was to do me for now. As having no tank drives you nuts for awhile : P

40l tank, Nice substrate and a 22watt light. WIth a betta, few crypts and another few plants thrown in there.

After that I quickly found out that room was a issue with plant growth etc so I thought I'd go a step more and get a 60L tank.

I went and spent a fair bit of money on a light unit as well, My new light unit over my 60L tank is a Wavepoint. It's a marine spec light only fitted with tropical T5 HOs. Giving an output of around 3.1 WPG

Meaning I must dose my EI ferts and co2 daily to keep growth up.

Tank is a mess due to me moving stuff around for now, More fish added as well.

I plan to grow HC and HG in my tank, Under 3.1WPG I shouldn't have much of an issue with it. CO2 is going to be yeast based and liquid CO2. Working on those for now.

Am also looking at buying more substrate as it's sadly not that deep, There's a few shrimp in there too but I never see them

Am open to ideas and questions of course and am quite lazy, I never really update these much.

What does ' costa del sol ' mean to being with? :p

Nice tank. It needs a rock on the lot IMO. With moss growing over it. Gives the shrimp soemthing to do apart from get eaten by your betta.

Bring the hardscape forwards. It'll get lost once the plants settle in otherwise.

My betta never touches my shrimp, But moss is on my shopping list as well as rocks.

Costa del sol is just the name of the tank, Everyone else seems to name there tanks or something so I thought I'd do something random.

I'll also post my ferts.

Fairly straight forward, I have a sheet of paper printed out as to what to dose each day anyway.

Okay so people requested rocks so I give you rocks and a slight rescape.

Thoughts and ideas are welcome.

I love how the rocks are sitting in relation to each other. :)  Those feathery plants to the left, are they Parrot's Feathers?

Nice.

Not a fan of the moss balls, but I can see why you've put it where you have for the size.

Another quick update

Lack of wood was annoying me so I added a small bit at the side too.

And my CO2 injection is doing very very good too!

I like it.

There is now a gap where that moss ball was though.....

I ordered some stuff from Livewire for that gap, Don't you worry :p

Love it Techen!

Just be weary of jumping bettas.

Mine jumps out of the water at flakes which have caught the side of the tank before reaching the water. I do have a glass lid though.

I think it looks better with the wood too :)

Thank you guys and girls :3

Should look even better once livewires plants get here :3
