Teacup Ray

Just thought I'd give a little update. She seems to be filling out some even in the short time she's been eating well so I'm pretty happy with that. :D I'm gonna try the bloodworm blood soak with some fresh shrimp as soon as the local grocery gets a fresh shipment in....might even try some muscle, good idea Cane. She is eating like crazy, reminds me of a little hoover.

One question I had though. As she has become much more active, is it normal for them to sort of scoot up the side of the tank and hop out of the water a little? She does it several times then will go back to her usual cruising the bottom looking for any tasty morsels. She only seems to do it at night...can't figure out what she is doing :shifty:

As far as the strange behavior of scooting up the sides of the tank and out of the water I am still puzzled. I do however have yet another question for anyone with experience. Since i have had her she has had small bumps on her disc and mantle that seem to be in some type of pattern, spaced every half inch or so near the edge of her disc, also looping around her eyes and down her back. Are these normal or some type of infection/parasite? You can easily see them in the pics.
