i used to have the non spotted variety of these, if you fit moonlights to your tank and wait until late or very early morning you'll see them swimming around at mid water level searching for food- super cool mine actually used to come out during the day for cockle!!

Nah they can swim REALLY fast, but they do tend to sit in the same place for most of their life...if thats what you mean, but "immobile" tends to suggest that they are unable to move at all..

Yeh that sounds about right, but then again, im a catfish lover, im used to half of my fish not ever moving, i bought these because they are beautifully coloured and a fairly rare fish to come by...
