Owing to the poor quality of my tap water I am seriously considering buying a tap water filter. It can't be a permanent one, as I live in a shared house, so something I can slip on and off.

Anyone?

In what way is your tapwater poor?

I have seen various gadgets designed to improve drinking water quality, but would suspect they would work out to be a very expensive solution for the quantities of water involved in tank maintenance.
