Tankmates

I currently have a tank community set up of 5 mollies, 2 gourami, 8 neon tetra 2 glass catfish and 2 albino algae eaters (all with the exception of the algae eaters I'm looking to re-home) and I want to start up a tank with 1 male betta - would he be settled in a tank on his own with 2 albino algae eaters, or should I look for other algae eating tankmates?

what do you mean by albino algae eater?
never heard of such a thing(do you mean the golden sucking loach i.e. chinese algae eater!)

every betta fish is different and has different personalities some go along with other fish ok some dont like anyone else in with them.

the only algae eater id recommend would be ottos in with betta but even that might not work

but tank needs to be mature and have some algae in it as sometimes its hard to get them to eat supplements!

I would get rid of them if I was you, They turn really nasty as they get older!
I was warned on this forum about them when I had some and I took them straight back to LFS
