Thanks again for the comments, here is a new picture of my clam which is opened up nicely this morning, and a picture of my newest fish, the Royal Gramma.
They are beautiful fish. I was going to get a fairy wrasse but the nice ones are all rather expensive. Im glad I got the Royal Gramma as he is a bold little fella. I have heard some people say theirs hide in the rock all day. I guess because I dont have a huge tank and no big fish he doesnt feel threatened so is permenantely on display.
Ya well I've seen them at the lfs nip at tangs three times their size so I'm guessing they are more bold fish than shy, but maybe thats just cause its so cramped in the lfs' tanks... idk, I like watching little fish push the big ones around
In the wild royal grammas live in colonies and are rather reclusive, hanging around near overhangs and caves etc. Its only in tanks where they get truly aggressive, usually only if they are either far too cramped or simply cant define a terratory of their own because the tank is too small.
Unfortunately the rest of the pics in this thread don't work, the utter prick who was hosting my website decided he didnt want to host me anymore with no justification as to why...
