my 30gal tank wont drop below 80 and generally stays at 81...how do i solve this without but a $500 chiller for such a small tank. any help would be great. thanks.

What's hot? I run my tank at 81.5-82.7 degrees. Average Carribbean reef temps during summer are 83 degrees. SH

i'm in South Florida, and my tank temp, even with the ac on, is around 82 degrees, night and day. I keep the feeding flap thing (I've got a nano cube) propped open just a little so air can get in there. Everyone seems happy (2 b&w clowns, 1 royal gramma, inverts and snails).

Yeah, 82 is not unheard of. Its on the upper end of things, but not dangerous. 84 is generally where danger starts and 86 is where its really bad
