its a colwater tank but i guess principles are the same

temp reached 90f today. how can i cool the tank down.

Been thinking small water changes after work, floating bottles of chilled water during the day. plonked my external filter in Ice so the water chills before returning. adding dechlored cool water from small drinking bottles every so often.

Clueless really

the goldies are fancy so do prefer warmer water but def not 90f

please give some ideas

Just increase aeration, i don't mess with the temp is this weather its a waste of time, it just stresses the fish with the temp being up and down.
Try and keep the room cool with a fan, and leave tank light off, good luck.

You can also set up a fan to blow across the top of your water, keep your lights off and keep the top of the tank off. You'll lose more water this way but then again it won't hurt to top off frequently to help keep the water cool also.
