Tank size

MY dad has a fish tank that he like bought at a garage sale. it's (in inches) 20x14.25x18.5

it's like the same size as my 10 gallon but taller, I haven't really looked at it all that much but the lid is strange with the light in the part you open to feed the fish, so your blinded every time you feed them. I think i'm going to get a new heater and filter for it though, don't want anything wierd happening to my future fish.

That would be a 22 gallon tank (So a 20 prolly) US gallons anyway. UK 19 gallons, or 86L

Make sure it's cleaned out real good before used.

i'm going to take it to the bathtub and fill it up to make sure there are no leaks, and if there aren't ill clean it.

it's like the same size as my 10 gallon around but like taller.

Sounds like either a 18 high Kristlin(sp?) or a 20 xh All Glass.... and just wondering... is the filter built into the hood too? I have seen a couple places selling the 18 h tanks with Eclipse hood/filter systems on them lately.
