so i have decided to seperate my two paradise fish by themselves and was wondering what size tank is reccomended for just having the two in one tank with no other fish (or smaller fish that the paradise fish wont get aggresive towards). would a 25ltr or 30ltr tank be ideal or too small?

cheers

If they are both males, you won't be able to keep them together - they can turn as aggressive as male bettas. Pairs don't generally work out either. If you want both of them in a single tank, I would say that it's no exaggeration to need around 55 gallons (approx. 200 litres). On their own, paradisefish can be kept in reasonably small tanks (as little as 5 gallons/20 litres) but I would say give each at least 10 gallons/40 litres - you can always include a few small loaches to make the tank more lively if you go down this route.
