Tank Size

hi jasonplus, to be honest I don't think any size tank , whether its 20 gal -plus' is suitable for any fish ,as no tank can substitute the freedom of their natural envviroment ...

I agree to a lot of this, but I am currently undertaking a mini experiment and actually keeping minature fish in a small aquarium. after having various large tanks of various fish in the past, I decided to down scale and look at keeping small fish (my honey gourami's will be the biggest inhabitants by a long way!). So far so good.

Its just a bit different. I guess different fish live in different habitats as well and while yes tiny streams maybe long and narrow, I wonder how many of their tiny inhabitants actually swim up and down the whole length of these streams?

Important thing is to keep the quality of the small tank at a tip top level and landscape the tank as interestingly (for the fish) as possible.
