i was wondering what sort of fish i could purchase that would possibly breed in my tank(not livebearers).maybe some sort of cichlid of dwarf cichlid. any ideas?
the tank currently contains:
*2 kribs(non breeding)
*2 red tail black sharks
*1 corydora
*12 cardinal tetras
*6 red eye tetras
*4 jewel tetras

Any ideas???

Firstly how big is your tank? secondly corys are shaolers and I'm sure it would be happier with at least one more of its kind. pref opposite sex (females are bigger and broader than males when u go to a pet shop ull notice a female looking down onto it from the lid he will appear 'fatter'. Good luck

Yes it is hard to tell you what you could add without knowing the size of your tank. If it is bigger than I am expecting the you should add more Cories. As Kossy said Cories are schooling fish and prefer to be in scholls of 5 or more.

As for adding cichlids, you would be better off adding something that would not eat your smaller/slower fish. I would add to that tank something on the line of Bolivian Rams, German Blue Rams, or a rainbow cichlid. Thou that might be pushing it. Those are all New World Cichlids.

Good Luck!
