Okay so my MTS is kicking in once again and I have found a pretty good deal on a 75 gallon tank! The tank is pretty brand new and the reason it is being sold is because the owner is moving and can’t bring the tank with them. It is about 110 dollars. It comes with a heater (adjustable), digital thermometer, clay pots, a HUGE piece of spider driftwood, and lots of live plants. I would only have to purchase a filter and cycle the tank but I’d say that’s a pretty good deal.

HOWEVER

I have also found a 125 gallon tank that is pretty nice as well. This one comes with a stand and has never even left the packaging. No cracks or anything. I don’t have anywhere to put this in my house though unless I decide to rearrange my living room (not super hard just irritating). There are more options with a tank this size, but I would have to buy all the equipment. This costs about 300 dollars. Stand was originally 500 dollars.

What do you guys think is the best option?

You might need to make a list of pros and cons for each tank, assign each a number out of 10 for how much of a pro or con it is, add them up and subtract the cons figure from the pros figure. Whichever option has the biggest remaining number wins. If, though, you then feel disappointed, do the opposite.
That's how I'd approach it anyway!
