Right well i have a siamese fight fish in a 9 gallon fish tank! What fish can go in the tank with him??

i like bright fish but i also like fish that wont be eaten by the fighter.

thankyou

Depends on your fish, most of all, I'd say. If you have a fish that's passive for a Betta, feel free to experiment. A general rule is to avoid flashy fish with large fins-especially if you like those fins! I know I keep female guppies with my female bettas and one male betta in a ten gallon tank and they're all fine together. If you have room for a pleco, then they work too-but please make sure you have enough room for it as it grows..eventually...

What fish do you have in that community tank you mention in your signature?

Look at my signature, i just added the information to it.

My siamese fighter fish is quite nice. it got along with the three zebra danio who he used to live with before they got moved to there new tank.

it really dependse on the fish i had one that within one night killed 2 guppies but another one that lived with guppys for months. try and stay away from neon tetras they can nipp bettas a bit. you could have corys, apple snail, some tetras, endlers but if you are going to add them just make sure you have a back up incase it kicks off.
