Is this normal, been running aquarium for around 3/4 months now, all going well, I have 8 neons, 5 Emperor tetras and 2 peppered catfish and 4 sterbai catfish, I introduced 5 kribs on recommendation from LFS, they have been introduced around 7 days ago, I have lost a peppered cat and 1 sterbai, the kribs seem to be bullying them, they dont seem to bother the tetras,

Kribs have gone back today.

Can you please supply me info for less agressive placid tank mates

Any advise would be very helpful.

Ps running a Aqua one AR-620 T 130 Litre.

I seem to have wonderful luck with gouramis, and they are never aggressive. I would suggest maybe looking at honey gouramis as they aremy favorite :good:

a sorority of female bettas. i know some people don't recommend putting tetras with females but I had 10 glowlight tetras, 6 peppered cories, and 5 female bettas all in a 30 US gal with no problems at all. female bettas are the most peaceful things when they're in sororities and make a great addition to community tanks.

by my calculations you have a 30+ US gal tank and adding 5-6 female bettas would work out.

if bettas aren't your thing (how could it not be?) you could always opt for more tetras :D you can never go wrong with tetras

My community tank (120 litre) has the following. 3 x Bala Sharks, 2 x Moonlight Gourami, 1 x Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami, 3 x Platy's and 4 x Otocinclus suckermouth catfish. All get along very well. I will have to either get a larger aquarium or find new homes for the sharks and possibly Gourami in the future. I have only recently got the catfish, even though info I gleened that they were not on the robust side. all 4 so far have stuck in and started to clean the algae. Only thing to watch is that they try to attach themselves onto the other fish, as the others are fast movers, this hasn't happened yet. :good:
