What it mean to be bothered?
I do it whenever there is something to be done, and with all my modorn gadgets, thats usually once a week for water changes.
That usually all I do, except feed, scrape algae and moniter water stats.
Not really hard if you ask me.
Once a week on the average for most tanks. Sometimes I stretch it to 10 days if life gets busy, sometimes they get it every 5 days if it's slow at work & I'm bored.
Depends, the betta tanks (the 1.5g's) I do once a week, the 3g's I do once a week but sometimes miss a few days (they're an awkward size), the 7g I do 100% every other week, the 15g, once a fortnight ATM becasue its only got a honey gourami in it and the 20g, every week, occasionally skipping a week (lots of filtration, plants etc, even though it's overstocked).
I do the 54 liter and 112 liter once a week, the 54 gets twice a week when I have a lot of fry/juvies in there. The 500 liter gets done about once every three weeks to a month.
I voted once a week as the majority of my tanks get a water change and substrate clean at the weekend but i do an additional midweek 15% water change on my biggest tank because it is overstocked and has sensative fish and the big brackish tank only gets a water change once every two weeks because it has a protein skimmer which removes a large portion of the toxins.
I voted once a week. The weekends are the days I get the chance to do them. I sometimes don't get everything done that I planned, so I stretch it to Monday night after work. I go camping with my two sons and the Boy Scouts once a month so the tanks don't get a full blown cleaning that weekend, I just change water, put plants back in the substrate and minor maintenance on Sunday. The next weekend I give them a thourogh cleaning. The small quarantine tanks I do during the week after work, or Sunday; more often when needed.
