OK. The (repaired) larger tank will be sufficient space for the fish in the photo, and more in time (as I said some of them need a larger group to be in good condition). The GH of 9 is OK for the barbs, cories, gourami. It is borderline for the livebearers, but given it is 9 (10 plus would be better for livebearers) I would not advise increasing the GH somehow, as that makes life much more complicated and may not really achieve all that much. Platies are a tad less demanding than say mollies would be when it comes to the GH.
