Tank Just Cracked, Water Everywhere

It happened to me too, although it was my terrapin tank. The table it was sitting on gave in and the tank hit the floor on one side. I was actually sitting right beside it while it went down. I was soaked and one of the terrapins was sitting infront of me on the floor just looking at me.
I just repaired the tank. Was easier and cheaper.

Scary stuff, especially as I have the same model tank in the lounge! Any ideas what happened to create the shear?

really not sure, the tank was level and no sign of any problems since i had it, which was about a year, just did the normal water change the weekend, nothing out the ordinary. just went pop on monday night. The tank was second hand when i bought it but was in good condition with no signs of stress or cracks when i got it.
