Tank Height,

I recently bought a double shelf unit for 2x fish tanks at
3ftx12inch
but the problem is if I have a normal height fish tank on the lower level there simply is not enough breathing space with the lid on!!,

Does anyone know where I can buy a tank thats 3ftx12inch but made to be shorter in height say around 11inch in height or so?
I can only seem to find generic heights,

Im considering building one now,

Im amazed that I just cant find a
36inch/12inch/10inch*ish* tank,

I wish the duel tank stand I bought had a little more space....on the bottom half.

hmmm well I have an aqua seal 24x8x8.. so perhaps theres some hope? OR you could invest in an acrylic tank, and cut it down?
