tank cleaning

Im just curious i bought a battery operated gravel vac, and i vacuum every two weeks, but I just vacuum around ornaments- do you think it is important when i do a tank cleaning to take the ornaments and caves out, to get what is under them or is it not a big deal as i dont think fish poop gets under them, but I am sure they it gets inside, any advice??

You bought one of those battery operated ones? Those are good buys.

As long as you get a majority of it out and your water stats (NH3, NO2, NO3) stay within acceptable levels its not the end of the world if a little buildup gets under objects. Get what you can bi-weekly, and then maybe every 3-6 months or so go nuts and get under everything. Just my $0.02
