i just recently switched over to sand (which looks SO much better in my opinion) and added some different plants. the ones i had in there were just looking ugly. i think i'm going to put some rocks in the front later as well. any suggestions?

Looks nice. :) I want the driftwood! :p Did you use Tahitian Moon sand?

yup, that's the sand. it was from the big al's in my area.
:)

For Plastic Plants tht looks really Good. I like the mix of Gren and Red :good:

thanks :),

one day i'd love to do real plants..but that would require better lighting (i think i have only 0.6w/g), some co2 and the plants..which would just be a bit too expensive right now.

There are some great plants that live in low light, anubias nana is great. :)

I like the before tank wayyy better. It is way more natural looking and the AFTER picture just looks like a kids tank IMO. Just my thoughts!

I`m sorry to say but i dont like the new look at all.

The first however looks really cool and if it was my setup would have been real proud of it.

My advice if you need it is to change it back. :)

nah the second tank is alot better IMO, taller plants make the tank look more busy which is a better look i think
