hi there,
has your poor fish got a missing chunk out of his tail? or is it just looking very raggedy & sad??? a whole chunk gone may mean some other tank occupant has had a munch at it. if it looks a bit raggedy it could be fin & tail rot - an infection that you can treat successfully with some medication you can get at your lfs!!! hope this helps a bit

If it's just nipped with no signs of infection it should grow back. Find the culprit and decide which fish you'd rather have,the nipper or the nipped, and then seperate them
