Tail-less Lucky's Progress Photos

I haven't been on the forum in a little bit, and I just found your update. This is wonderful! I'm so proud of Lucky! He has some nerve to scare you like that though, jumping out of his tank like he did. Good job on your part though! he looks great.

wow, that fish will have a full tail in no time  bettamomma, u'v definately made history here on the betta forum. i dont think anyone has ever had a betta here with and external injury that severe and have it survive and recover as quickly as lucky has.

AND this guy also took a trip down the drain pipe.
Maybe I should buy some lotto tickets or somethin one of these days.
;)

He's looking incredible. That's going to be one beautiful tail on that little boy in no time.

My cellophane had an accident resulting in his whole tail being ripped off (dont ask!) and hes recovering very nicely!

He LOVES to wiggle his butt.
He does it ALL the time.
He sits right next to Six's tank, and I swear - he backs up to the side of the tank and wiggles it in Six's face.

Chino - I'd actually be really, really interested in hearing how your boy lost his tail - I'm completely baffled how it could have happened to Lucky and can't even begin to imagine! PM me if you want to!

He is looking grrrreat! :D Good work BettaMomma, you have some very "Lucky" bettas. What about an update on Louis? How is he doing?

Louis is doing fabulously.
It's gotten to be quite a chore to feed him because he now has decided not to come all the way up to the top of the tank like he used to. So I have to squish and mash peas up so they stick to the spoon so I can lower them into the water, and same thing with blood worms - I have to get them just right on the spoon so they hang down into the water. But it's all worth it. :)

I also have to do water changes for him about every other day because there's so much excess food that falls to the bottom, and since he can't see it - he just doesn't find it.

Aah well - he's still such a great guy to have around.
