Hey I just found some frog tads at my lfs and they are selling them as feeders! personally I would keep them in my empty 20 gallon? what is your say?

Some species are toxic, that would be my only concern. Lots of predatory fish will eat tadpoles and frogs, so I would probably try if I knew the species of frog in question.

No! I have kept frogs for a few years now, depending on species they can be very toxic, and if there not the toxic ones they can still make your other fish sick because they are bacteria prone. Also tad poles are really hard to keep alive they are very picky. Not only for your fish, but for the tad poles I ask you to choose a different bottom feeder. Also on that note tad poles prefer to eat off the waters surface from my experience with over 4 different species

thanks btw I think they are tadpoles of our edible frogs... are those toxic since we cook up the legs of the adults...

I'd have to have a name, but I doubt if we eat them that they are toxic but frogs still Carry tons of bacteria and germs that fish are not accustomed to, ACF are totally different breed of frog

so are adfs... i think im not gonna buy those critters... sad though if only i had a spare tank i would love to see them grow! They sell them for about 50 Centavos (in Philippine pesos) here... so cheap yet so sad!

From my understanding, you can keep ADF's in the same tank as fish but th fish should be fast moving as those frogs also have claws
