T5 Lights With T8 Fittings?

I believe i have a t8 light unit on my jewul rio 125 tank and are wondering if there is any t5 brighness tubes that fit in the t8 sockets i have currently?
Im looking to use the brighter t5 tubes and keep the t8 unit as money is tight, is this possible? or is there any other way of doing this cheaply?

Are there any bright t8 bulbs as a plan b? I need the white and uv light.
