Sopranos: best show ever.No debate.
24 (implausible at times.But gota love Jack Bauer)
The wire (with subtitles on)
Blackadder (if for no other reason than the final ending)
Red Dwarf

I love 24 and am growing to love the wire on 4th series now, everyone in work saying better than sopranoes but doesnt come close for me but good in any event

Agreed .maybe its the order people see them in.Saw Tony & the boys before 'The Wire'
Series 1 & 2 were excellent, but 2 of the last 3 series (including the 5th unfortunately for you) were not near that level.
Can remember too many bad episidoes, let alone an entire series, over the 10 years 'Sopranoes' ran for.

edit: as for man vs wild. Ray Mears is the daddy.
