Synodontis Eruptus

I have a big and beautiful male synodontis eruptus - called "Trojan", don't ask why

I know that he is at least 8 years old and he is currently looking better than ever, but seen as most fish are not really long lived i was wondering what is their average/maxinum lifespan? I would Hate to lose him soon.....

That sounds a good age for a fish, so at least i will hopefully be able to enjoy him for a couple more years!!
