Syno Id Help Please

Hi guys i need a bit of help Id'ing these 2 bought them from local pet shop but name i was given doesn't even exist (no surprise there) can anyone help with ID'ing there's 2 on catfish database that look similar .Any help is much appreciated

Synos are not the easiest of fish to ID, you could post a thread with these photos at PC, where professional ichthyologists grace the forums.

They *could* be young S.eupterus, but if they came with a fancy name, most likely hybrids as suggested above.
What size are they? They look very similar to this picture of a juvenile S.eupterus to me though...

I would say s eupterus. That's what my old one looked like

Looks like a baby eupterus to me. Maybe even a baby angelicus in one of those, but i doubt that. I would come back when theyre adults for better id.
