Swordtails With Convicts

Ah right fantastic! The kribs will love the 45g :) - Is the 45 a 4 foot tank?

It is not 4 but pretty close i think it is a 3.5 feet tank. I posted on the Africans section and somebady said that if they are the fresh pair they are not successful the 1st few tries, i hope its not bad??

No its quite natural from what ive read its kind of like fish learning what to do with their eggs and their fry - for example something I noticed from my HRPs their first batch of eggs suffered badly from fungus and they lost them all and ate them - how ever on their second batch of eggs they survived and I now have fry thriving in my tank so they obvs learned how to deal or prevent fungus. Other pairs will have to take smaller steps than that even starting at learning not to eat the eggs so they hatch or not eating the fry etc but most pairs usually pick up their own parental instincts after a few attempts just give them time.

My kribs have arrived and i have to go pick them up tomorrow morning, i hope it works out. i have set up the tank with 2 flower pots and driftwood.

I am gonna see if i can get any, but they are stressed now so we will have to wait a couple days till they look more colorful.
