Cant rearly say, looks like a snake skin more than a lace. but the body is wrong.

Yeah the back half of the body Is slightly bent in the photo, It's not usually that bent but just a little.

actually i can't,i had already voted before i put up his pic.i didn't know it would be entered in the contest.besides,voting for your own fish doesn't seem right to me.
