Swollen stomach

I suspect my clown pleco has a swollen stomach. It's hard to tell, but I'm fairly sure there's a signifcant bulge there. It hasn't been there long, maybe a few days. He seems to be eating fine, and has good color. He's homed with another clown pleco. Unknown sexes. Both about 2 inches in size.

Could it possibly be eggs?
Any suggestions on what to do?

Don't no about eggs, but swollen tummys can be consipation try some shelled peas, what does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet,is the anus red and inflamed.

I can't really tell, he hides too well and when he's not hidden completely he's in an awkward spot to get a good view... think I should catch him and get a closer inspection?
