bought this cow a month or two ago... didn't know she was already bred... no wonder she was refusing the advances of my hansom young bull

My granddad raised calves when I was a kid, and I loved visiting him (and them). He lived near Gettysburg, PA, so it was a 2.5 hour drive whenever we went. I always named every single calf, but never saw any of them more than once.

1st time we got calves to raise... MRS wanted to know if we could name them... I said sure... that one is "T-Bone", & that one is "Cheese Burger"
... the names stuck... funny, MRS ga pal, had a couple young girls, who called them by name, but never expected they would grow up & become their namesake

our bull is a year & half old right now, a brindle Scottish Highland... we named Wooly Bully... this picture was taken about 9 months ago, just after we got him

Highlands are my favorite
