This is a list of things I have:

30 gallon aquarium
hood
1mm gravel
laterite
penguin 150
aquaclear 50
150 watt heater
piece of driftwood
cave
rocks
dechlorinator
bacteria supplement
liquid fertilizer
root tabs fertilizer
flourish excel CO2
fish net
tetracolor flakes
freeze dried blood worms
bottom feeder wafers
shrimp pellets
aquarium salt (for medication uses only)
API master test kit

This list has plant supplies too. The tank is going to have these plants

This is the list of fish I would like:
7 harlequins
6 lemon tetras
6 tiger barbs
5 panda cories
3 kuhli loaches

I hope this is a good start for me! What do you think?

A algae scraper and/or a cleaner magnet is always handy. A gravel vac and a 2-3 gallon bucket are essential imo

I would add a couple of buckets, a gravel vac, tea towels also + advise that keeping CO2 levels steady in a large tank like your using flourish excel may be an expensive process. Your size of tank really warrants a yeast based CO2 system or compressed CO2. Both Dennerle systems for these were rated well in most recent PFK magazine. I have also offered my stocking advice in your other post.

I was debating to myself about the CO2. I know the pH rises when there is CO2, and drops dramatically when there is none at night, so I went for the flourish excel because it doesn't flucuate the pH. Also, CO2 machines are expensive, and the less expensive ones you have to turn on and of manually, as you can't plug in a yeast fermentator.

There is also the option of just choosing hardy plants that can do without extra CO2: Java fern, Java moss, vallisneria, hygrophila and anubias seem to do well in my tanks.

I have a 30 gallon aquarium as well, I'm going through a fishless cycle at the moment, can anyone tell me if this is a good level of fish for this tank? I would like something similar but was advised here that with 6 tiger barbs in a 30G tank it was nearly full. (10 being max for that size).

6 Tigers will fully stock that tank  . That's not correct. As you have already noticed. I would say 10 - 12 Tigers would probably fully stock that tank as they reach about 3" at adult size. Whilst being a cracking little fish you have to be so, so careful with what you stock with them otherwise nipped fins and missing tails end up being a fairly frequent occurnace.
