Hi all

hope all is well?!
I picked this up shopping today and thought I could use in making fish/shrimp food. I have attached the ingredients if you could tell me if okay to use?

If you get rid of everything in that packet except the spirulina, you will be fine but the fish can't digest the remaining ingredients.

If you want a green supplement for fish, buy spirulina tablets and either drop them in whole for suckermouth catfish, or crumble them into a powder and mix with frozen food for other types of fish.

Wear a dust mask if crushing it into a powder and wash hands afterwards.

Colin nailed it. I use Omega One Veggie Flakes for upper fish and Omega One Veggie Rounds for substrate fish. These have spirulina and/or algae, but they also have whhole shrimp and fish. Which means all fish will readily eat them, and this is an excellent way to get the "veggie" factor. I feed these two foods once a week on the same day, so all fish are getting their green stuff for a healthy digestive tract..

Thanks my knowledgeable trio... after salty&onion said that I thought she is right I am sure I read that somewhere too. I have spirulina algae wafers that I feed everyone and also brine shrimp with spirulina and garlic in the frozen. But I will look into them flakes to as I like to give all my guys variety
