That’s a 29g tank you see. That thing has been growing for over 4 months! It’s over 2 feet long.

(The red line indicates where the Anacharis is. ;))

I measure some at 2 1/2 feet, they really grow, down side is that they break easily if your not careful handling them but then you just plant the "new" plant along side it's older part and you have two. ;)

Wish I could grow anacharis.. I tried and failed. But my anubias looks great!

I picked up some anubias at Petco this week, 3 very small plants, hoping I will have luck with them too.

I swapped a big clump of subwassertang for a load of anubias recently, I got two pots of anubias nana, and three of anubias (bonsai) nana. The regular ones are growing well but the bonsai version is slow. This is what i got from 2 of the bonsai pots.

Something like this would look good on the driftwood in your tank I think. (I used superglue)

Yes, it would very nice, I have been using various ferns like java ferns.

Yours looks good. For some reason mine is super big and clumsy. Can I just cut some pieces off to make smaller ones, so I can spread it out more?

If you trim your plants they will grow bigger and fuller. I float my anacharis. It seems to be happier floating than in the substrate.

If I trim them, they won’t grow from the spot I cut it from. It’s be weird as it’s just cut off. I sometimes do it and replant the trimmings, only if I have a lot of it.

So the official measurement is 3ft 1.2in. (An estimate, but still close. ;))

Just a note I have see it grow a foot a week in the past. I don't have any now and it ia no longer available in my area (its now classified as invasive). Basically if you get the 14 nutrients it needs right it will fill your aquarium in 2 to 3 weeks.

Wow ! @PheonixKingZ . That Anacharis is Awesome ! It looks really healthy too. When did you get the 29 ? What's in it ?
I got it around 3 months ago? Yes, 3 months ago. The current stock is the following: 1 Zebra danio (I’m getting more soon), 1 zebra Nerite snail, 20-25 cherry shrimp, 1 albino pleco, and a ton of “pest” snails. (MTS and BRH).

As far as plants go, I have the following: Frogbit, Anacharis, 2 types of Anubias, and 1 lacy Java Fern. The sand is just okay sand.
