(Anyone know how I can shrink these things?!!)

I disagree with dressing any animal up for your pleasure :(

Hmmm I think dressing dogs up is just making a mockery out of the dog.

Nice dog though!!

Might be an idea to resize the pictures, there masssive, maybe to life size

Bah! The bumble bee outfit was for last Halloween's dress-up contest. She won a gift certificate from a pet store for winning.. hehe.. She was only in the silly thing for about 30 minutes! Besides, she has sweaters she has to wear otherwise she'd freeze her little butt off (she only weighs 3.4 pounds!)

well like I said to dress any animal up for you
pleasure is not something I aggree with;
however putting on a sweater to keep an animal warm is
ok as that is being a responsable owner.

the bumblebee is soooo cute!

can i nominate him/her for POTM if it hasnt already been suggested?

does the dog really know/care what your doing to it if you are putting clothes on it? can it really discern the difference between clothes for its own welfare and clothes for your own pleasure? I think not. as long as the clothes dont overheat the dog or make it uncomforatble in any other way, whats the problem? I think that dog is adorable!!!!

plus it was for her benefit - i assume you bought her something for winning!!!!

     :D

Awww, she's adorable! I second the POTM nom.

I agree with pleco and LMO, my dogs get dressed up by my nieces all the time. They are fine. It makes them be better dogs. When we were growing up we had a black lab and we would always dress it up in leather jacket, dresses, sweat suits, ext. It was the best dog because of it. It had tolerance for little kids. All the dogs in my family get dressed up.

Why do you think professional dog 'keepers and breeders' put underware on their female dogs when they're in heat? When we breed we have to put on a T-shirt on the female to stop the pups from nursing on her. It's fine to do!

unless the dog is obviously getting upset, then it is NOT cruelty
my dog LOVED  getting dressed up for halloween
she was a beautiful border collie X lab
it started when we got her a knew collar, she was so excited
she was prancing around all prissy when we said "pretty girl", showing off how beautiful she was
when she would get groomed they would put a bow in her hair and there would be a bounce in her step for hours
then we started dressing her up in halloween costumes (like a spider) and going on and on saying "pretty girl"
for the rest of her life, it didn't matter how rediculous she looked, if you put ANYTHING on her she would prance around and show off her "pretty"

i don't see how that is cruel
the dog doesn't know the difference between a sweater and a bumblebee costume for gods sake!
all they know are the admiring eyes around them
some people, i tell ya
the ones that get pampered and showed off like that are usually the best taken care of, as they are obviously someones baby and well loved
go attack someone who beats their dog, or never walks them and keeps them on a chain

if people want to make a difference they have to concentrate on protesting towards specific things
your best bet is to help out in extreme cases (ACTUAL abuse)
not to spread it out and protest equal rights for animals

EDIT: BTW your dog is the cutest little thing ever!
i just want to kiss its little forehead forever :*

Stuff like that winds me up

Not only is it making a mockery out of the dog, its disrespectful :sly:
