Hi,

I have currently purchased a pair of sunspot brevis "shellies"

I am wondering what type of fish would make good tank mates

The tank is not big and i would like maybe mid to top fish

I was thinking maybe White cloud mountain minnows ???????

Or any other small cichlids

I am open to and advice

Many thanks

Lewis

Regardless of your tank size (assuming it's not too small) your Brevis will populate a very small corner, depending of course on how many shells you have and where you put them.

For example if you put your shells in one corner, your Brevis will rearrange them a little to suit their mood but they won't start moving shells all over the tank, they'll basically stay in that corner. I've had Julies and Brichardi in with my Brevis and had no probs and I know Cyps won't give you any issues either, but again it depends on your tank size also.

We would need to know the size of the tank before being able to give you realistic options of stocking. Whatever you do, please don`t look at adding any Brichardi to the setup though. There are other species that could be a possibility but that are less likely to harass or kill your brevis :/
