One thing that came up in conversation today was whether I'm running a sump or canister system.... at the moment I'm running neither, however would incorporating a canister filter be worthwhile? Particularly a Fluval 205?

If so I may take the juwel box out of the corner of my rio 125 right now before I fill the tank tomorrow. I've seen nothing but conflicting information on it so am wanting your opinions! Will I struggle with nothing but live rock?

You can use a cannistor but if they're not maintained regularly they can actually cause problems (nitrate farms) + I had a 205 for my trop tank and I think they're a complete pile of poo!

If you can then sump it imo
