hey guys.. just a quick question on the topic of sulphur nitrate reductors. ive got a 300 litre system, and was looking into getting a 600l reductor.. is this over kill, and am i putting my livestock and corals in undue risk by having a bigger reductor than i need, or will it still be perfectly safe to use? would it just end up dumping a mass load of sulphur into my water or will it be ok?
not having had one before, id be very grateful for any response and advice about this bit of kit and who is the best manufacturer to get one from.

cheers x

I am heading down this route myself (trying for zero nitrates) and have acquired a Deltec reactor.

I need to do a little more research myself regarding supply pump etc and the actual running of such appratus
So it will be interesting to see what turns up in the replies to your thread

i spoke to the lfs about a nitrate reactor and they told me to go for the one nerest the literage in the tank cant remember why so long ago but i will ask them tomorrow for you but if it is a 300l dont go under go over so if you get a 250 reactor - go for the 350-400 as long as it is close to the literage of you tank
