hi just got a gold suking loach and it is being chased by the siamese how can i stop it from doing it.

20 litres is about 5 US gallons, or 4.5 UK gallons.
Assuming the gold sucking loach is a Chinese Algae Eater, your tank is far too small for it. The same goes for the Siamese Algae Eater. I think the minimum tank size for each of these is 20 gallons, although it could be more so don't quote me on that.

I really suggest you take both algae eaters back to the lfs.

For a tank of your size you are limited for what fish you can keep, but a single male betta (on his own) would be a good option.

Do you have any other fish in the tank?

the gold sucking loach is a cross breed between a chines algae eater and a sucking loach.its also a siamese fighting fish not algae

Well there's your answer then, you can't stop it. Siamese fighters (Betta) are extremely territorial fish, and attack any other fish of similar size, and that are brightly coloured.

You really shouldn't keep any similar sized brightly coloured fish with a male betta unless you have a very big tank, and even then they can still be aggressive. Or you could be lucky and have a very calm natured one.

Yeah take back the loach, and anything else that's in the tank, and just keep the fighter on his own

who told you that load of hotspur?
the golden sucking loach Gyrinocheilus aymonieri is a man made colour morph
or the natural green colour, it is not a hybrid in any way shape or form.
