Haha yeah my betta boy was the same. He learned very quickly that I equalled food.

The endlers do have a tendency to get in the way during cleaning lol very equisitive little things.

My snails arrived today. Yay!! They aren't as bright as I'd hoped they would be but never mind. Thought one was dead initially as it just didn't move but after aclamitising them I popped them into the tank and they both immediately set off clearing algae off the glass. I have deliberately not cleaned the algae as I knew they were coming.

Keep an eye on the snails for a few days just to be on the safe side. Dead snails can mess the water pretty fast. Like fish, sometimes they don't make it in a new tank. If in doubt, sniff the snails cautiously - dead snails stink.

They'll make wonderful abstact designs in the algae as they eat their way round and round!

The snails seem fine, slowly working thier way through the algae.

Here's a picture of the two of them :

Are they really bumblebee snail? I can see the striped pattern on the smaller one (although it doesn't have the beautiful bright yellows and blacks) but the bigger one just looks olive green.

Bumblebee snails are in the genus Clithorn, which has several species of varying colours. It is quite possible that the place you got them from has several species but just lumps them all together and with getting them posted you are at the mercy of which individuals they send. Having said that, they'll all eat algae and if your snails are like mine you 'lose' them for days on end so you won't be able to see what colour they are.
