For those of you who have not seen my journal, I currently have a Juwel Rio 180 stocked with 15 harlequin rasboras, 5 zebra danios, and I will be adding several Corydoras sterbai once I can find some at a reasonable price.
Basically I'm looking for some ideas for the rest of the fish to stock it with. I like the idea of a trio of apistogramma sp. and/or a pair of blue rams
What else could go with these fish, or would that be my maximum stocking level? (i have a eheim 2026 filtering, not the juwel internal)

Rams Vs Rummys - well Rams are so gorgous I think I would choose them, only problem is they can be territorial so you might not be able to have as much choice of fish with them.

I love my sterbai! Such funny active little guys  Is your tank planted? I just got a pair of checkerboard cichlids. They are very peaceful and enjoy the warmer temps that sterbai like. However, they are a bit shy, so the danios might be too much for them?

there will be live plants in it, but it wont be "planted" as such eg i dont plan on adding CO2 or ferts or anything like that. Saying that however, there will be a reasonable amount of live plants going in there to go with the small amount of ergia i already have
