can anyone give me any suggestions on what to do with my 2.5 gal tank please.i have 35 gal and a 7 gal which are already in use,i dont think i will be able to do much but i'm not sure thats why i'm asking for anyones advice.thanks

you could put a adf in there or maby a few snails. If you really wanted to try it you could try a saltwater picto.

thanks for that guys.
i was thinking about a betta, but was unsure whether that would be suitable.thats what my 7 gal was ment for but now it's my fry tank. Can you get heaters that small cos i know you need a heater for the betta.i have had a betta before but unfortunaly he got attacked by my gouramis. :) thanks again.

I use 25w heaters in my 2.5 and 3 gallon tanks. They work great. I don't recommend getting those small flat heaters, there are no regulators and it kicked the temp in my tanks up by 10 degrees.

thanks for that.
i will go and get one in the next couple of days and set it up asap.my kids will be pleased cos they loved the last betta that we had he was very shy.its great to get so much help and advice around here. :thanks: i'm so excited now, knowing that i can have another betta cos they are such great fish.

They really are, I've only had mine a couple weeks, and my second a few days... I've a feeling this could get expensive, and take over my whole house!

i think the same only been keeping fish for a few of months and already i want to set up my third tank.my partner thinks i'm crazy, the kids think it's great but i'm running out of room it's a good job they are not huge tanks lol.i think i will be wanting bigger and better in the near future(maybe if i move house)its sooo addictive

I know. The only thing you want when your fishkeeping, is a bigger tank. I started with a 18l starter tank, then went up to a Juwel 70l tank, now I have a Juwel Vision 260. 260 litres of aquarium goodness. Am I satisfied. A bit. The tank and cabinet are ace. But they could be bigger.

I am going to set up to smaller tanks, around 18l again and have another two Bettas... I do love Bettas, its a shame you cant have them togetther... Imagine a school of 20 Bettas in a aquarium...

my 2.5 gal tank that i was putting my betta in has just been turned into a fry tank til i can seal the fry tank up cos of the leak but i will be getting my betta for that tank very soon maybe i just might go out and get a new tank lol.they are great things to have my four year old can name all my fish

If you get 20 spawn sisters when they're young, and you have an extra large aquarium with lots of plants and hiding places, you could definately have that many bettas together, and I'm told it is an AWESOME sight! And the females come in as many (and I personally thing better) colors than the males!

Oh I know. But Im all about the Veil Tais, and Crown Tails myself!

Females in comparison tend to be a bit boring!

Only my opinion!
