Suggestions For A Daytime Active Catfish....

HI!


I know this is tough one but...Can you think of any daytime active species of catfish that would go with male fancy guppies (13) and possibly glass catfish?
The tank is 240 liters, that is cca 63 US gallons.

there is also a very good chance that there will be a pleco and some algae eaters in the tank...

I have a tank with mollys and a cory catfish, the catfish swims around with the mollys at times and is very active in the day

Flag tail porthole catfish, Dianema urostriatum, are a great choice. They stay small, about 4-5 inches, are very active, timid, and have great coloration. Heres Planetcatfish.com's link about them.

Personally i'd go with a medium sized shoal of corydoras,

About corys...I will already be buying some for my smaller aquarium so I want something different in this aquarium

I have both flagtail cats and cories and for me they act pretty much the same just the flagtails are bigger.

In that tank I would get a nice big shoal of cories, they look really nice when in a big shoal and act much more naturally. JMO though, flagtails would work nicely as well.

oops, sorry, just read above post... Flagtails are a good choice then!
