Suggest Me A Mini External Filter

I'm using an old Eheim 2011 on my 12 litre Celestial tank - rated at 250lph its perfect for filtering small tanks - I'd say see if you can get either a small Eheim or Fluval - much better buy in the long run.

Do you know the model names that are good for this size tank?

Elsie - Thanks for the offer but Im buying too many fish online I want to get out to some fish shops to see what I can find Planning a long haul trip to Pier Aquatics soon so hoping they will be able to help me out with my loaches/catfish for the tank looking forward to that trip though

Just get something small - 2011, 2211 or Fluval 104 / 105

You can lower the flow rate by shutting the taps slightly - people will say this puts strain on the pump and will cause it to fail - this is nonsense. By restricting the flow slightly you will cause the pump head to heat up slightly - but it'll be so little as too make no difference to the life of the pump. (Source; my electrical engineering father)
