whats best to use as substrate ?

aragonite
crushed coral (fine)
live sand
beach sand ?

Hi!

I used Aragonite. Just the normal stuff. If your using LR it will soon be seeded and become live. I wouldn't bother paying extra for the live stuff.

so if i use the finest aragonite i can find for a dsb in the main tank say 7cm deep that will be ok ?

and then a bit in the sump as well ?
