Stuff growing in my tank

hello all,
i have a 3 gallon freshwater tank and ive noticed that there is some dark green moss-like plantlife growing on my rocks and plastic plants. they are like little shrubs about a centimeter in hight. i dont know if this is bad or good or just something that naturally happens.. please help me if u can.

Sounds like a case of the algae. If you want to get rid of it the natural way, check to see if the tank is getting any excessive light and then go and buy an algae eating fish. You can get mollies, plecos or something like that.
