Stuck With Zebra Danios

just to share my experience of zebra danios:

ive just started a new 65l tank and my 6 danios (no other livestock yet) chase eachother constantly. not the schooling fish i was expecting!
they all look male to me... i think adding a few females would sort them out. or maybe some bigger tankmates so they stick together. at the moment theyre running riot by themselves!

I have 3 Zebra Danios and they never bother any of the other fish, Tiger Barbs and a Red Tail Shark. I have 1 fat one that chases one of the other zebras sometimes, and the 1 other zebra is calmer.

I have 4 zebra danios in my community tank and they dont cause any probs. The can chase some other fish around playfully and have a reputation as fin nippers but I havent had any aggression from then.

I think the op's problem will have stemmed from the chinese algae eaters and not the danios.
